RANCH-RAISED BEEF
Wolf Creek Ranch is a working cattle ranch. We operate a cow and calf herd of commercial black Angus cows and use quality Balancer bulls from Dobson Ranch in Kaw City, OK.
Our cattle are totally vegan! We finish our beef in our own micro-feedlot where we feed a balanced diet with no hormones or other growth enhancers. We then process the meat and offer a whole of half beef for sale to the public. Our beef is also served at our restaurant, The Painted Horse Bar & Grille in Bartlesville, OK, and when catering is requested here at WCR.
RANCH HORSES
Horses are a vital part of our ranch to move cattle and get us where we need to go in some beautiful, but rugged country. WCR has quality horses for ranch operations, riding lessons, and trail rides. Our herd is a blend of AQHA registered stock and previously wild mustangs that are safe and fun to ride.
WCR's breeding program is geared toward producing quality, working ranch horses that are smart and can be used in the branding pen or show arena. Our mare band goes back to or is bred by sons of Smart Little Lena, Hollywood Dun It, and Sixes Pick of the 6666 Ranch.
As a working ranch and a ranch that offers horse riding experiences to the public, we feel we have a horse that fits just about everyone.
